You need more people like Rusty in the service department. We’ve been frustrated at the personnel’s lack of caring and lack of professionalism/customer service in the past. We were ready to take our business elsewhere, but tried one more time and our experience with Rusty was do different. He listened, gave us a plan, did what he said he was going to do, followed up with us and just used general courtesy and great communication, which several of your service guys do not do. Please give Rusty an increase in pay. He’s why we are still coming to McCarthy Chevrolet for our service.

Called Shane in Service and scheduled an oil and filter change and tire rotation and told him about a left front blinker issue and he said they would change out the assembly. When I dropped off the vehicle I was told the amount would be around $1200. I got a call from Chris stating there were more repairs needed and the amount would be $2100. When I showed up to get the vehicle the amount on the invoice was $2500. Dave was able to get it down to $2200 but it was still a shock. Also, the car now has a ticking noise it didn't have before.

We got an oil change and knew one of our wipers (the rear one) was in poor condition and needed replaced. We brought that up. Upon receiving our vehicle the wiper blade wasn’t put on nor charged for and we were told two of our axles were leaking oil. The person we dealt with wasn’t there when we took possession but I’m assuming the first person didn’t hear us about the wiper. My biggest issue and complaint is that our “inspection sheet” was not done properly. We got it back and it said everything was fine which just isn’t true. The axels should have been marked bad, so should have the tires due to tread depth being in the midrange as well as the wiper on the rear being bad. This doesn’t put any trust that the technician is looking over the vehicle as they are saying they are going. We were told the techs have a complete all button to do the checklist. That should be completely gone as to avoid anyone “pencil whipping” their check sheet. I will now look at McCarthy techs with very skeptical eyes as I do not know if I can trust them to go over the vehicle and be honest.

Came in last week for a 2024 Chevy Teaverse front left tire repair. I came in with the donut on and the damaged tire in the back. The desk worker was kind and cordial. Gave me a 1-2 hour timeframe and the car was ready at 2 hours. However, I am a super busy working mom of 3 and was very frustrated to find my trunk with completely a wreck. No one put my trunk back together after carelessly throwing the donut back into the trunk. The car-jack and all of the nuts and screws were rolling around and the trunk wasn’t even laying flat because the donut tire wasn’t even placed into where it needed to be— it was all crooked and carelessly placed. I paid $478 dollars for a new tire and an alignment. To me, the trunk situation could have been put back together within minutes.

Ok. A little confused on price. Got a text for price quotes for service of 1040.00 to replace fan clutch which I declined and a price of 340. For diagnosis, new wiper blades and was thinking the quote also included a new purge valve installed. I said I would just install purge valve myself as it's very simple. But still got charged 340. I picked up my 3500 Denali dually after having quite a bit of work done. After an 18 mile drive to work Tuesday morning, my truck was shaking extremely bad. After a quick inspection, I noticed my front drivers side center cap was missing and all of the lug nuts could be turned by hand. When reporting this to the service advisor, I was told, over time, lug nuts stretch which can result in them becoming very loose. Instead of manning up to it, they flat-out lied to me, thinking that I'm a fool. Instead of sending some one out to my work to make it right, they suggested that I have someone else fix it. Not only the potential damage that could have happened to my truck and myself, this mistake could've killed someone. But all they could offer was, order new lug nuts and a center cap.

I had an amazing sales experience with Charlie Trumps. This was my first time buying and financing a car from a dealership, and Charlie made it such a smooth process. I filled out paperwork right away, he came back with an approval, I test drove it, loved it, did a little more paperwork, shook some hands, got a big hug and congratulations from Charlie, and drove off the lot with a smile on my face. I really appreciate how patient Charlie was with my daughter. He was super kind and understanding, and Mike was too. They even played a quick game of catch with my 3-year-old to keep her busy, and Charlie bought her gummy worms from the vending machine while I finished up paperwork. That meant a lot to me. Overall it was an A1 experience. I’m really glad I decided to stay with Chevrolet. My first car was a 2006 Chevy Impala and now I have a 2025 Chevy Trax. My first car purchase wasn’t the best experience, and honestly, it left me feeling like I didn’t receive the same level of care or attention that other customers seemed to get. I spent a lot of time shopping around at different car lots, hoping to find the car I really wanted, but none of them had it in stock. It was frustrating, especially when it felt like salespeople weren’t genuinely interested in helping me unless I was ready to buy something right away. Eventually, I ended up at a dealership that did have the car I was looking for, and while the experience there was somewhat better compared to the others, it still wasn’t what I’d call great. I felt like I had to work extra hard to be taken seriously, and even then, the communication was lacking, and the process felt rushed and transactional. It didn’t feel like they valued me as a first-time buyer, and I left with mixed feelings—glad I finally had the car I wanted, but disappointed in how the whole process played out. The customer service was lacking across the board, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that I wasn’t treated with the same respect or attention as other customers. Instead of celebrating a major accomplishment, I felt let down and overlooked. The joy I initially felt was taken from me because the people I had to deal with during the process made it feel like I was just another number, not someone experiencing a special moment in their life. The communication throughout the process was poor and inconsistent, making the entire transaction frustrating and unclear. To make matters worse, the vehicle’s title was not available at the time of purchase, and I was given the runaround when trying to get answers about it afterward. Additionally, I was not provided with the second set of keys at the time of sale, and I had to follow up multiple times with no clear resolution. What should have been a proud and joyful moment felt diminished due to these avoidable issues. Based on this experience, I would not consider returning to this dealership for any future purchases.

We were overcharged, talked into replacing an oil pan when we had no leaking. It leaked after it was replaced and had to be brought back again. It began with the turbo charge going out. We had that replaced and when we picked up the vehicle my daughter couldn’t even drive it out of the parking lot. It was worse after it was fixed. We had to leave it another day. A code came up with an air intake issue and they said they had to take it apart again. Come to find out it wasn’t installed correctly. I was quoted prices and charged way more than the quotes. I had to decline services because we got three different quotes that were vastly different. I wasn’t given my Chevy points to get the discount. I also had a discount coupon for the service that was given. We currently have 3 Chevy vehicles and will not be bringing them back to this shop. They used to send videos and take wonderful care of us when we came in for service. That is no longer the case. I finally received my first video after this last drop off. The manager told me that they must have had troubles uploading , which I do not believe. I asked him if it was normal protocol to send a video for service and he said yes. My daughter was without her car for 4 days and works very far at a Children’s Hospital. It has been challenging getting her to and from work while the car had been in and out of the shop. This has been a nightmare that we hope to never repeat again. I will be going back one final time to get my refund for being over charged for 2 oil pans when we only had one replaced. 🤦🏻♀️

Walked in excited about being able to afford to by a new truck. Left 4 hours later with a new truck feeling manipulated, embarrassed and the excitement taken away from us. Worn out and defeated by the floor manager and finance department. Why were we not allowed to write a check and purchase a vehical? Everyone acted like they were doing us a favor. AND then they wanted us to do a favor for them. We have an incorrect title, no second key or "packet", not one apology and our concerns were met with ideas on how WE could fix it. At this time there is no way we would be able to recommend this dealership. This was not our salesman fault, he was in training and found us a truck we will eventually love once WE resolve some issues with the purchase.

I came on October 18, because my brake sensor, forwarded collision sensor, stability track sensor, steering wheel sensor were showing on my screen and I asked the gentlemen to please check my battery, and sensor because something is wrong, he told me they couldn't find anything and said everything is fine, and if I would like to bring my truck back and leave it I can. Soafter leaving the sensors kept showing on my dash board, so on October 22, I took my suv to Advance auto and had them to check my battery and it showed a big Red X, stating replace battery, so of course I felt the gentleman at the dealership lied to me about checking my battery, so now its inconveniening me to have to go back to the dealership and have them check it again, so I called October 23, and I was able to get in at 1:30, and I told them and showed them that Advance Auto said my battery needed to be replaced, and I spoke with another gentleman about the whole situation and he just said to take 50 dollars of my totally and I feel that was just a slap in my face because if it had of been someone else that would not have happened and I feel you should have taken half off the battery. You come to the dealership for them to be honest and tell you about your vehicle when having it checked not send you out with all the same issues to have someone else check and find out they didn't check it at all.

I scheduled a 12 volt battery replacement for my 2019 ChevyBolt EV. I was told it would take 4 hours to get a battery so I told the person to schedule the following day so that a battery would be available. I arrived the following day and was checked in and went to the waiting room. after 1 &1/2 hours i was told that they did not have a battery available. No one could explain why they didn't realize earlier when I checked in. I was forced to reschedule for the next dayafter they called to let me know a battery was now available. I did receive waiver of the labor cost on the battery replacement but I found it interesting no one could esplain why there was not a battery available the prior day nor why it took them an hour and a half to realize they had no battery in stock.

I came in to get my breaks checked out because they have been terribly squeaky since I purchased and to get the tpms sensors repaired because that was also sold to me non functioning. The brakes sound terrible still and tpms were not repaired because “sales” didn’t approve and you want me to come back and use my warranty another time. So my truck was there for 7 hours for an oil change only to be completed. The truck was sold to me with a broken windshield that was not brought to my attention even when signing amendment about damage to the truck stating No damage present. After the deal I sent Charles a picture whic he replied that’s built in part of price. I then said we signed paper work saying you were not aware of any damages which then he did not reply. As that is how McCarthy Chevy handles the sale of a 45 k truck.

I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation online. Upon arrival I was told service would take 60-90 minutes. The employee who checked me in indicated they were very busy despite having a scheduling process to manage appointments. My vehicle ended up taking over 2.5 hours and I was given no updates throughout unless I asked for them myself. If you have a scheduling process it should be used to meet your communicated times to customers. If you experience delays you should proactively communicate with your customers. I'm unlikely to come back to McCarthy for my future service needs.

I dont normally have any issues with your service department, in fact have had nothing but amazing service from them but after having a regular oil change and tire rotation, 6 miles down the road the TPMS light came on with a warning on the dash that my tire system needed service. I live 15 miles away and had no time to change my plans to return to your dealership. I work in the complete opposite direction from the McCarthy location and dont normally drive out to that area, not to mention the inconvenience of now needing to make another appointment, take time to drive to yours or another GM dealership to have my tire sensors reset to their new positions. Probably should be included in the tire rotation process. Now I am driving around without a properly functioning TPMS and constant warnings and notifications until I take time to go get it fixed. Very annoying to say the least.

I had it in there 3 times. First time left it on a Friday cause it wouldn’t start had to jump it to get it there. No one called Saturday to give us an update. I called Monday morning Clayton said they changed the battery and fixed a module well when we picked it up Monday afternoon found out they didn’t change the battery just jumped it. It is a 2024 with only 3,800 miles on it. Drove it home and it said side detection needed to be serviced. So took it right back left it then they said they needed to get a part in so we came and got it. Took it in on the 13th to get the part in and it took over 3 hours while watching service guys walking around laughing and talking. People came and left and I was still there. Next time I need something done will take it to Molle.

I had what I thought was a repeat issue with a brake sensor on my 2025 Colorado. I contacted Jeremy in Service and he was able to get me scheduled immediately. After a thorough check of my truck, it was a different issue that was causing the same problem with my breaks. The issue was fixed and I was on the road about 2 hours later. I am a customer with McCarthy, having purchased a new Blazer in 2021 and probably purchasing another soon. My sister-in-law also purchased a Blazer from you last year. With that said, I will catch you up from Monday, January 26th. I came in for a scheduled assessment of my Blazer, due to a couple of alerts I had from the dashboard. Chris, in service, assisted me when I arrived. Not long after they took my Blazer in, Chris came to me with news I would need a new battery and radiator. I said to Chris, “Who is covering the radiator, because I am not.” Chris then asked me to come back to the service desk. I explained, we just had a radiator replaced due to a recall. Chris looked up the information and said yes, in May of 2023 we replaced the radiator, but that was with your warranty. (In my recollection of 2023, we were told there were issues with radiators and they were recalled.) I was, as you can imagine not happy. Chris asked if I had extended warranty and I told him I thought so. Chris began to look for the extended warranty. He said he did not see I had one. Of course, I am more irritated. Chris then asked me to come with him to the Service Managers office. I am already letting the manager know as I walk in the door I am not happy and this is ridiculous. The fact that the radiator was replaced in 2023 and it is bad again. The manager explains the warranty is out and over mileage to cover a replacement. I say, “You mean you don’t stand behind your product?” The manager says, “I don’t work for Chevy, I work for McCarthy.” My response, “You work for McCarthy, which sells Chevy, which makes you a representative of Chevy.” Of course, the manager was not happy and didn’t really hide his irritation very well. I found information in my phone where I had purchased an extended warranty in 2024. I showed the information to the Manger and he began to type in his computer and said, “Oh, this is an old one, I haven’t seen this warranty in forever.” I said, but it’s a good warranty and he said yes. Much to my relief things were going to be taken care of. I apologized twice for my earlier demeanor, but the manager really wasn’t having it although he did shake my hand when I reached out. At that point Chris took over, called the number I gave him for the warranty. Gave the warranty company all of the information, took photos of the radiator and sent all to them for approval. I left as Chris said he would let me know when he hears back from warranty. After waiting most of the day on Tuesday, I called Chris at 3pm I asked if he heard anything about the approval. Chris said he had not. I asked how long it usually takes. Chris said he really didn’t know as he is at the mercy of the warranty company. I said okay and thanked Chris. Upon hanging up from that call, I called the warranty company and spoke to Michael. Michael informed me everything had been approved and the approval was emailed and faxed to Chris at 5pm Monday. I thanked Michael. I called Chris back and this time my call went to his voicemail. I told Chris what Michael said and that I would wait for a call back to set up repairs. I also sent Chris an email with the same information. Wednesday morning I sent Chris another email. At this point I received a message from Chris and we scheduled repairs. I am a big believer in customer service. I work in a company that demands an extremely high level of customer service. There is a TED talk called Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara. Though McCarthy’s customer service is not horrible, as a leader, I would highly recommend everyone in your employ watch this incredibly eye opening video. You will realize no matter what industry, if you are customer facing, leaving a customer feeling like they had a good experience is priceless. This was more about the McCarthy team saying what they “couldn’t do” as opposed to saying , “you know what, let me see what we can do.” Thank you.

The oil change went fine. My wife said when she checked in, she wasn’t greeting with much customer service. We were also a little surprised that they don’t run it through a quick car wash once they finished the service. Almost all of our other dealers provide that service.
